Job Summary:
Wanted pediatric surgeon to a hospital in Khammam.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and surgically treating congenital and acquired conditions in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. This role is pivotal in providing compassionate and specialized care to young patients in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Surgical Care:
Perform surgeries related to congenital and acquired pediatric conditions, including but not limited to gastrointestinal, urological, thoracic, and oncological issues.
Provide emergency surgical care, including trauma and acute abdominal conditions.
Patient Care:
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Ensure pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and recovery.
Collaboration:
Work closely with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other specialists.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and patient management.
Teaching & Training (if applicable):
Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and junior staff.
Conduct and participate in clinical training programs.
Research and Development (Optional):
Engage in clinical research to improve surgical techniques and outcomes in pediatric surgery.
Compliance:
Adhere to hospital protocols, medical ethics, and patient safety guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: MBBS and MS/DNB in General Surgery, followed by MCh/DNB in Pediatric Surgery (or equivalent).
Experience: [Specify required experience, e.g., "Minimum 2 years post-MCh/DNB experience in a recognized institution preferred."]
Skills:
Expertise in pediatric surgical procedures and post-operative care.
