Job Summary:
We have a job opening for General Medicine Assistant Professor doctor for a medical college in Hyderabad Telangana.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academics:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in General Medicine to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students.
Develop innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum materials in line with university guidelines.
Supervise and mentor students in clinical and research projects.
Clinical Duties:
Provide expert patient care in the associated teaching hospital.
Supervise and guide residents and junior doctors during clinical rounds.
Participate in hospital's outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care services.
Research & Publications:
Conduct and publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals.
Encourage and guide students in research activities.
Attend and present at national and international medical conferences.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum planning.
Assist in organizing academic events such as CME programs, workshops, and seminars.
Contribute to the accreditation and quality improvement processes of the department.
Additional Roles:
Stay updated with advancements in General Medicine through continuous education.
Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary teaching and research.
Uphold the ethical and professional standards of the institution.
Qualifications
MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
Minimum teaching experience as per NMC/MCI norms.
Skills and Competencies
