Job Summary:
Teaching:

Supervising and mentoring students in clinical rotations, research projects, and case presentations.
Clinical Practice:
Providing clinical care to patients with dermatological conditions in the hospital or outpatient clinic setting.
Conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing skin disorders, and formulating treatment plans.
Performing dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Research:
Initiating and conducting research projects in dermatology, including basic science research, clinical trials, and epidemiological studies.
Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
Securing funding through grants and other sources to support research endeavors.
Administrative Duties:
Participating in departmental meetings, committees, and other administrative activities.
Contributing to the development of departmental policies, procedures, and strategic planning.
Evaluating and assessing the performance of students, residents, and fellows.
Continuing Education and Professional Development:
Staying updated on the latest advancements, guidelines, and technologies in dermatology.
Engaging in continuing medical education (CME) activities and pursuing board certification and recertification as required.
Community Engagement:
Participating in outreach programs, health fairs, and public awareness campaigns to promote skin health and educate the community about dermatological conditions.
