We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor in Anesthesia to join our esteemed medical college. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and clinical excellence in the field of Anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities:
Conduct lectures, seminars, and clinical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) students.
Design and implement innovative teaching methodologies.
Supervise students in their academic and clinical work.
Develop course materials and update the curriculum as required.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia services and perioperative care in the associated hospital.
Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and pre-operative planning.
Supervise and guide junior doctors and postgraduate trainees in their clinical duties.
Research Contributions:
Initiate and participate in research activities and publications in national and international journals.
Guide students in their research projects and dissertations.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in departmental administration and contribute to institutional activities.
Participate in academic committees and conferences.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in Anesthesia from a recognized institution.
Experience: As per the regulations of the National Medical Commission (NMC) or applicable governing body in India. Typically, 3 years of experience as Senior Resident or equivalent teaching/clinical experience.
Strong communication, teaching, and clinical skills.
Research aptitude with a record of publications (preferred).
