Job Summary:
Wanted Forensic Medicine Assistant Professor doctor to a reputed medical college in Vellore.
Academic Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
Develop and deliver lectures, practical sessions, and seminars in line with the curriculum.
Supervise and guide students in academic research and projects.
Research:
Conduct independent and collaborative research in Forensic Medicine.
Publish research findings in reputable national and international journals.
Contribute to research grants and funding opportunities.
Medico-Legal Duties:
Assist in the examination and reporting of medico-legal cases, including postmortem examinations.
Train students in medico-legal report writing and procedures.
Ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards in forensic practices.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
Assist in curriculum planning and development.
Contribute to accreditation processes and institutional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
MBBS with MD in Forensic Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Previous teaching experience in a medical college is desirable but not mandatory.
Strong academic and research background in Forensic Medicine.
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent teaching and communication skills.
