Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiology Consultant to join our esteemed hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As a Cardiology Consultant, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various cardiac conditions, providing expert consultations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with cardiac symptoms, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Interpret diagnostic test results such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations to formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions when necessary. Perform invasive procedures and interventions such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker implantation with precision and adherence to established protocols. Monitor patients' progress closely throughout the course of treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Provide timely consultations to other healthcare providers regarding complex cardiac cases, offering expert recommendations and guidance. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease management, and preventive measures to promote long-term wellness. Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and continuing medical education activities to stay abreast of advancements in cardiology practice and maintain licensure requirements. Collaborate effectively with colleagues in cardiology, cardiac surgery, nursing, and allied health professions to deliver coordinated care and enhance patient outcomes. Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all aspects of clinical practice, adhering to institutional policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; completion of postgraduate training in Cardiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) is required.
Valid medical license to practice in Tamil Nadu, India.
Minimum of 5-20 years of clinical experience in cardiology, including expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiac conditions.
Proven proficiency in performing invasive cardiac procedures and interventions, with certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex medical information in a clear and compassionate manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
