We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Senior Resident in Pulmonology to join our esteemed institution. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, actively participating in academic activities, and contributing to the advancement of the Department of Pulmonology.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, tuberculosis, and sleep disorders.
Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic procedures.
Manage critical care cases in the intensive care unit (ICU) related to pulmonology.
Provide on-call coverage as per the department schedule.
Teaching and Academics:
Actively participate in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Conduct and supervise clinical case discussions, seminars, and journal clubs.
Mentor junior residents and interns in the department.
Research and Publications:
Engage in departmental and institutional research projects.
Contribute to publications in indexed journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in maintaining medical records and documentation for patient care and audits.
Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Qualification: MD/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine/Respiratory Medicine from a recognized institution.
Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with prior experience in the field are welcome to apply.
Skills:
Proficient in managing acute and chronic respiratory cases.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
