Job Summary:

Wanted Pharmacology Associate Professor doctor to a reputed medical college in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate Professor of Pharmacology to join our esteemed institution. The candidate will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and academic leadership within the Department of Pharmacology.

Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials to MBBS, MD, and other allied health science students. Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic and research activities. Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning. Organize seminars, workshops, and guest lectures related to pharmacology.

Research Responsibilities
Conduct and publish original research in reputed national and international journals. Guide postgraduate and doctoral students in research projects. Secure research grants and participate in collaborative research initiatives.

Administrative Responsibilities
Participate in curriculum development and review processes. Assist the Head of the Department (HOD) in departmental activities and administration. Serve on academic committees and contribute to the development of institutional policies.

Clinical/Practical Responsibilities
Oversee the pharmacology laboratory, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and resources. Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary teaching and research. Provide pharmacological consultations and guidance for clinical cases and drug trials.

Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualification: MD (Pharmacology) or an equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Experience:
At least 5 years of teaching and/or research experience as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology in a recognized medical college. A proven track record of academic publications and contributions to research.

Skills:
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in research methodologies and statistical tools. Ability to inspire and guide students and junior faculty.

Desirable Attributes:
Experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical trials, or toxicology studies. Involvement in community outreach and continuing medical education programs. Active participation in professional societies and conferences.
