Job Summary:
Looking for Orthopedic Surgeon Associate Professor doctor to a medical college in Trichy Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Academics
Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS/MD) students in Orthopedics.
Develop and update curriculum as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC).
Mentor and guide students in their academic and research pursuits.
Clinical Duties
Supervise and manage the clinical care of patients in the hospital affiliated with the medical college.
Provide expertise in diagnosing and treating complex orthopedic conditions and injuries.
Oversee surgical procedures and train residents in operating room techniques and protocols.
Research and Development
Conduct and supervise clinical and academic research in Orthopedics.
Publish research findings in reputed national and international journals.
Actively participate in conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.
Administrative Responsibilities
Assist in departmental planning, management, and accreditation processes.
Participate in committee meetings and contribute to institutional development.
Ensure compliance with MCI/NMC regulations and institutional policies.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: MS/DNB in Orthopedics from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in Orthopedics in a recognized medical college.
Publications: Must have the requisite number of publications in indexed journals as per MCI/NMC norms.
Age Limit: As per institutional and government regulations.
