Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Rheumatologist to join our multidisciplinary team at a leading healthcare institution in salem Tamil Nadu.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with rheumatic diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management, while contributing to clinical research and patient education.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and osteoporosis.
Perform diagnostic procedures such as joint aspirations and injections when required.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaboration:
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including orthopedics, physiotherapy, and pain management specialists.
Refer patients to other specialists as needed for comprehensive care.
Education & Training:
Educate patients and their families about disease management and preventive care.
Supervise and train medical staff, interns, or residents (if applicable).
Research and Development:
Participate in clinical research and stay updated on advancements in rheumatology.
Contribute to academic activities, including case discussions and journal clubs (if applicable).
Qualifications
MBBS and MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Fellowship or DM/DNB in Rheumatology is preferred.
Valid MCI or state medical council registration.
[0 to 20 years] of clinical experience in Rheumatology (preferred but not mandatory).
Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in diagnostic procedures related to rheumatology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
