Key Responsibilities:
Academic Duties:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in orthopedics.
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical demonstrations.
Develop and update the orthopedics curriculum to align with the latest advancements in the field.
Clinical Practice:
Supervise and manage orthopedic cases in collaboration with residents and medical staff.
Perform surgeries and advanced orthopedic procedures as required.
Ensure patient care aligns with the highest medical standards.
Research and Development:
Conduct research in orthopedics and publish findings in reputable medical journals.
Guide students and residents in research activities.
Participate in national and international orthopedic conferences and seminars.
Administrative Roles:
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy-making.
Assist in the recruitment and training of junior staff and residents.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical guidelines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Background:
MBBS and MS/DNB in Orthopedics from a recognized institution.
Additional certifications or fellowships in orthopedic subspecialties will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 to 20 years of teaching experience in a recognized medical college or institution.
Proven clinical expertise in managing diverse orthopedic cases.
Skills:
Strong teaching and communication skills.
Expertise in advanced surgical techniques and orthopedic equipment.
Research aptitude and a record of publications in indexed journals.
Registration:
