Job Summary:
Wanted Surgical Consultant Gastroenterologist doctor to a reputed hospital in Nagercoil.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care:
Diagnose and manage complex gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases requiring surgical intervention.
Perform advanced gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
Endoscopic Procedures:
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures such as ERCP, EUS, and colonoscopy.
Patient Management:
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure optimal patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols and medical ethics.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.
Education & Research:
Mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students.
Engage in clinical research and contribute to academic publications.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements:
MBBS with an MS in General Surgery and an MCh/DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Experience:
Minimum 0 to 18 of post-qualification experience in surgical gastroenterology.
Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries is a plus.
Skills:
Expertise in handling complex surgical cases.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
