Job Summary:
We have job opportunity Ophthalmology Senior resident doctor for a reputed hospital,medical college in Madurai.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Conduct thorough ophthalmic evaluations and diagnose eye diseases.
Manage outpatient and inpatient cases, including emergencies.
Perform common ophthalmic procedures and assist in surgeries under supervision.
Participate in specialty clinics, such as cornea, glaucoma, and retina.
Surgical Duties:
Perform minor surgical procedures independently and assist senior surgeons in advanced surgeries.
Monitor and manage post-operative patients.
Teaching & Supervision:
Guide and mentor junior residents and interns in clinical and procedural skills.
Deliver case presentations, lectures, and participate in academic discussions.
Research:
Participate in ongoing research projects within the department.
Publish papers in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to departmental audits.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
MBBS with an MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
0–2 years of post-MD/MS/DNB experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic tools and surgical techniques.
Strong clinical acumen and decision-making abilities.
