Job Summary:
Hiring Pharmacology Senior resident for a medical college in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu.
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Pharmacology Department as a Senior Resident. The selected candidate will actively participate in academic, clinical, and research activities while supporting undergraduate and postgraduate training in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities:
Teaching & Mentoring:
Assist in delivering lectures and practical sessions for MBBS, BDS, and allied health science courses.
Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic activities, seminars, and discussions.
Curriculum Development:
Contribute to designing and updating course materials as per NMC/MCI guidelines.
Assist in organizing workshops, CMEs, and conferences.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage pharmacovigilance activities, including adverse drug reaction monitoring.
Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring and support clinical pharmacology services in associated hospitals.
Provide evidence-based recommendations for rational drug use.
Research Responsibilities:
Participate in departmental research projects and clinical trials.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Support students and faculty in their research endeavors.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining departmental records, including inventory, reports, and academic schedules.
Support the smooth functioning of the drug information center and pharmacovigilance programs.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
MBBS with MD in Pharmacology from a recognized institution (as per NMC/MCI guidelines).
Registration with the State Medical Council or MCI.
Experience:
Preference for candidates with teaching or research experience in Pharmacology (if applicable).
Skills:
Strong knowledge of pharmacological principles and clinical applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and collaboration.
Proficiency in using pharmacological software and tools.
