Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiologist to join our prestigious hospital in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. As a Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac care to our patients, diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests related to cardiovascular health. Interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnosis, medical history, and overall health status. Perform cardiac procedures and surgeries including angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker implantation, and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) as necessary. Monitor and manage patients in cardiac intensive care units (ICUs), cardiac wards, and outpatient settings. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including nurses, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and radiologists to coordinate patient care effectively. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and research activities to enhance clinical outcomes and advance medical knowledge in the field of cardiology. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient progress notes, procedure reports, and discharge summaries. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate qualification (MD/DM/DNB) in Cardiology from an accredited university.
Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist in India.
Minimum of 0-23 years of clinical experience in cardiology, preferably in a hospital setting.
Proficiency in performing cardiac procedures and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
