Responsibilities:
Teaching:
• Delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops to medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervising and mentoring medical students and residents during clinical rotations in anesthesia.
• Developing and updating curriculum materials to ensure relevance and compliance with educational standards.
Clinical Care:
• Providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgery, obstetric procedures, and other medical interventions.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Research:
• Conducting scholarly research in the field of anesthesiology.
• Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
• Collaborating with colleagues and students on research projects to advance knowledge in the field.
Administrative Duties:
• Participating in departmental meetings and committees to contribute to the ongoing improvement of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assisting in the evaluation and assessment of medical students and residents.
• Engaging in professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in the field of anesthesiology.
Qualifications:
• Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB) in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum of 1 years of teaching experience in an academic medical setting preferred.
• Board certification in Anesthesiology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
