Job Summary:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the subject of Anatomy through lectures, practical sessions, and demonstrations.
Prepare and deliver course material following the medical curriculum prescribed by the university.
Develop innovative teaching methods to improve students' understanding of anatomical concepts.
Supervise and guide postgraduate students in their research and thesis work.
Conduct and publish research in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the institution's academic reputation.
Participate in academic planning, curriculum development, and examination processes.
Organize and participate in departmental and inter-departmental seminars and workshops.
Mentor and evaluate students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary learning.
Assist in developing and updating the anatomy lab infrastructure and resources.
Provide academic leadership within the department and mentor junior faculty members.
Engage in continuous professional development and attend relevant conferences and symposia.
Comply with institutional policies, including ethical and legal standards in teaching and research.
Participate in community and outreach programs as required by the institution.
Maintain a professional demeanor, contributing positively to the institutional culture.
Qualifications:
MD/MS in Anatomy or an equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Relevant teaching and research experience, as per regulatory requirements.
