The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, conducting research, and providing pathology-related clinical services as per institutional needs.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Academic Activities:
Deliver lectures and practical sessions in pathology for MBBS and postgraduate students.
Prepare and update course content, teaching materials, and assessments.
Mentor and guide students in academic and research projects.
Research:
Undertake research in pathology and related disciplines.
Publish findings in reputable national and international journals.
Collaborate with other departments and institutions for interdisciplinary research.
Clinical Services:
Provide diagnostic pathology services, including histopathology, cytology, and hematopathology.
Participate in clinical discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in curriculum development, evaluation, and examination processes.
Contribute to departmental meetings, seminars, and faculty development programs.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification: MD/DNB in Pathology from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-5 years of teaching or clinical experience post-MD/DNB is preferred.
Candidates with relevant research publications will be given preference.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of pathology concepts and diagnostic techniques.
