Job Summary:
Looking for Medical Gastroenterology doctor to a hospital in Kozhikode.
We are seeking a skilled Medical Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed hospital. The candidate will:
Diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, including liver, pancreas, and intestinal conditions.
Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Conduct comprehensive consultations and develop personalized treatment plans.
Monitor and manage chronic diseases like IBD, GERD, and hepatitis.
Interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging, biopsies, and lab results.
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for gastrointestinal emergencies.
Collaborate with surgeons and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
Ensure compliance with medical protocols and hospital standards.
Participate in training junior staff and medical students.
Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology to implement best practices.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Engage in hospital outreach programs and health camps, as required.
Offer empathetic and compassionate care to all patients.
Participate in hospital audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Work in shifts or on-call duty as per the hospital's requirements.
Qualifications: MD/DNB in Internal Medicine with a DM/DNB in Gastroenterology. Relevant experience preferred.
