Job Summary:
Job Opening For Emergency physician doctor to a hospital in Kozhikode.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join our esteemed hospital team. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and other hormonal imbalances, while providing compassionate care to patients.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Evaluate and manage patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic syndromes.
Provide individualized treatment plans using the latest medical advancements.
Clinical Procedures:
Perform diagnostic procedures, including fine needle aspiration biopsies for thyroid nodules, hormone stimulation/suppression tests, and glucose tolerance tests.
Interpret diagnostic tests like thyroid function tests, blood glucose levels, and hormone assays.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with primary care physicians, dietitians, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Academic & Research Contributions:
Participate in hospital-based teaching and training programs for medical staff.
Contribute to clinical research or community health initiatives, if applicable.
Administrative Duties:
aintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital protocols and ethical guidelines.
Assist in developing hospital policies related to endocrine health services.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
MBBS and MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics (essential).
DM/DNB in Endocrinology (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum [0 to 20] years of clinical experience in endocrinology. (Experience can be tailored to "fresh graduates welcome" if applicable.)
Skills:
Expertise in managing complex endocrine cases.
