Job Summary:
Wanted Orthopedic Surgeon Senior Resident to a reputed medical college in Ernakulam Kerala.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Manage and provide comprehensive care for patients in the orthopedic department.
Assist in surgeries and perform minor surgical procedures under supervision.
Handle emergency cases, including trauma and fractures.
Supervise patient care in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
Academic Duties:
Participate actively in departmental academic activities such as case presentations, journal clubs, seminars, and clinical discussions.
Assist in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Conduct research and contribute to the department's academic output.
Administrative Duties:
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records.
Coordinate with other departments to provide multidisciplinary care.
Support the department in maintaining high standards of medical education and patient care.
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Qualification:
MBBS and MS/DNB in Orthopedics from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant State Medical Council.
Desirable Skills:
Strong clinical and surgical acumen.
Good teaching and mentoring abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Interest in research and academics.
Experience:
Candidates should have completed their postgraduate training in Orthopedics.
Prior experience as a junior resident in Orthopedics is preferred but not mandatory.
