Job Summary:
We invite application for the post of Neurology doctor to a reputed hospitals in Ernakulam kerala.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, migraines, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other central nervous system conditions.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans.
Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication, therapy, or surgical options in collaboration with the neurosurgical team if needed.
Provide consultation services to other departments and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
Offer guidance to the rehabilitation team for post-treatment patient recovery.
Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and treatment plans.
Stay updated with advancements in neurology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Supervise and mentor junior medical staff or interns, as required.
Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research, if applicable.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: MBBS with an MD/DNB in General Medicine and a DM/DNB in Neurology (recognized by the Medical Council of India).
Experience: Minimum 0 to 22 years of experience in neurology preferred (Freshers with exceptional academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply).
Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in conducting and interpreting neurological tests.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interaction.
