Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Training:
Deliver lectures and clinical training for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/DNB) students.
Supervise clinical rounds, case discussions, and skill development.
Develop and update course content to align with the latest curriculum guidelines from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric consultations and treatments in the hospital attached to the medical college.
Supervise and mentor junior faculty and resident doctors in clinical psychiatry.
Research and Academic Development:
Initiate and lead research projects in psychiatry and related fields.
Publish research papers in reputed national and international journals.
Guide postgraduate students in thesis preparation and research activities.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and curriculum planning.
Contribute to the accreditation, assessment, and quality improvement of the department.
Community Engagement:
Organize awareness programs, workshops, and outreach activities related to mental health.
