Job Summary:
We have job opportunity for neonatologist for a reputed client hospital in Alappuzha.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert care to newborns, including premature babies and those with critical illnesses or congenital conditions.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and manage neonatal emergencies.
Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans tailored to the needs of each infant.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure holistic care.
Provide guidance and education to parents and caregivers about neonatal care, feeding, and overall development.
Participate in hospital initiatives, research, and continuing medical education programs.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: DM, MD/DNB in Pediatrics with Fellowship in Neonatology (or equivalent recognized qualification).
Experience: "Minimum 2-20 years of experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)" or "Freshers with a fellowship in neonatology are welcome"].
Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols, procedures, and equipment.
Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
Compassionate approach toward patients and their families.
Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
