We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Associate Professor in Gynecology to join our esteemed medical college. The successful candidate will contribute to academic excellence by delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, and participating in clinical care services within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical training to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) students.
Develop and implement curriculum in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards.
Supervise and mentor students in research projects, dissertations, and clinical training.
Clinical Practice:
Provide patient care in affiliated hospitals and oversee clinical procedures in gynecology and obstetrics.
Act as a consultant for complex cases and support the clinical team in ensuring high standards of patient care.
Research:
Conduct and publish high-quality research in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
Actively participate in grant applications and research initiatives within the department.
Administrative Duties:
Contribute to departmental activities, curriculum planning, and faculty meetings.
Participate in academic assessments, accreditations, and quality assurance processes.
Community Engagement:
Participate in medical outreach programs and initiatives to raise awareness about women's health.
Qualifications and Experience
MBBS and MD/MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from a recognized institution.
At least 5-8 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in a reputed medical college (as per NMC/MCI norms).
Must have publications in indexed journals as required for the position.
Registered with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India.
