The Anesthesia Professor at Medical College, Alappuzha, Kerala, plays a vital role in the academic and clinical training of medical students pursuing anesthesiology. The Anesthesia Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, supervising clinical rotations, and participating in research activities within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Leadership: Develop and deliver comprehensive educational programs in anesthesia for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Design curriculum, syllabi, and assessments aligned with academic standards and regulatory requirements.
Teaching and Training: Conduct engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials to impart theoretical knowledge in anesthesia. Organize and supervise practical sessions, including demonstrations, simulations, and hands-on training in anesthesia techniques and procedures.
Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to medical students during their clinical rotations in anesthesia. Ensure adherence to best practices, safety protocols, and ethical standards in patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB) in Anesthesiology.

Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Kerala Medical Council.
