We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Medicine professional to join our prestigious medical college as a Professor. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, conducting research, and contributing to the academic and clinical excellence of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical teaching sessions in General Medicine for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students.
Prepare and update course materials, lesson plans, and practical modules.
Evaluate and assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and clinical assessments.
Research:
Conduct and publish original research in reputed journals.
Guide postgraduate students in their dissertation and research work.
Participate in national and international medical conferences and seminars.
Clinical Duties:
Supervise and provide patient care in the associated teaching hospital.
Mentor students during clinical rounds and case discussions.
Ensure the integration of clinical knowledge with academic teaching.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
Contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and institutional activities.
Assist in the accreditation process and maintain academic standards.
Mentorship and Development:
Guide and support junior faculty members.
Organize and participate in faculty development programs.
Provide career guidance and mentorship to students.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS and MD in General Medicine (or equivalent degree recognized by the National Medical Commission of India).
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of teaching and/or clinical experience post-MD, with at least 4 years as an Associate Professor in a recognized medical institution.
Evidence of published research work in indexed journals.
