Job Summary:
Job opportunity for anesthesia Assistant professor to a medical college in Vijayapura.
Teaching & Training
Conduct lectures, practicals, and clinical demonstrations for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) students.
Supervise and guide students during clinical rotations and anesthesia procedures.
Prepare and deliver academic presentations, seminars, and workshops.
Clinical Duties
Provide anesthesia services in operating rooms, ICUs, and other clinical areas as needed.
Participate in preoperative and postoperative patient care and consultation.
Ensure patient safety during procedures by adhering to best practices.
Research
Engage in clinical and academic research activities within the department.
Guide students in research projects and dissertation work.
Publish research papers in indexed medical journals.
Administrative Tasks
Assist in curriculum development and implementation.
Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional events.
Help in organizing conferences, CME programs, and workshops.
Continuous Learning
Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesiology through professional development programs and conferences.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology from an MCI/NMC-recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of teaching or clinical experience in anesthesiology post-PG (as per NMC norms).
Prior experience in a medical teaching institute is preferable.
Skills:
Strong teaching and communication abilities.
Proficiency in clinical anesthesia procedures and patient care.
Research aptitude and academic writing skills.
