We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Professor in Physiology to join our esteemed medical college. The ideal candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic development while fostering a culture of excellence in education and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Training:
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate students.
Guide students in research projects, assignments, and presentations.
Participate in curriculum development and implementation.
Research:
Conduct and publish innovative research in physiology and related fields.
Supervise postgraduate and doctoral research projects.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in academic planning, student assessments, and faculty meetings.
Participate in the development of departmental policies and standards.
Mentorship:
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students and junior faculty.
Continuous Development:
Stay updated with advancements in the field of physiology through conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualification: MD/PhD in Physiology from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching/research experience as an Assistant Professor in a medical college.
Publications: At least 4-5 publications in indexed journals.
Key Skills
Strong command of the subject with excellent teaching and communication skills.
Proficient in research methodologies and data analysis.
Ability to foster collaborative learning and teamwork.
