Job Summary:

Wanted Forensic Medicine Associate Professor doctor to a reputed medical college in Mysuru.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Academic Duties:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Forensic Medicine for MBBS, MD, and other relevant courses. Develop and update curriculum and course materials in accordance with the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC). Guide and mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in their academic and research pursuits.

Research and Publications:
Conduct high-quality research in the field of forensic medicine and publish findings in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Supervise student research projects and dissertations. Seek research funding through grant proposals.

Clinical and Forensic Responsibilities:
Oversee medico-legal cases and provide expert opinions on autopsy reports and other forensic evidence. Ensure proper documentation of medico-legal cases as per legal and ethical standards. Liaise with law enforcement agencies and the judiciary when necessary.

Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental planning, coordination, and management. Contribute to faculty meetings, workshops, and seminars. Assist in the accreditation and quality assurance processes of the department and college.

Qualifications and Skills
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS degree from a recognized institution. MD in Forensic Medicine from an MCI/NMC-recognized university. Additional certifications or training in forensic sciences will be an advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of teaching and clinical experience in Forensic Medicine, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college.

Skills and Competencies: Strong teaching and mentorship skills. Proficiency in medico-legal documentation and procedures. Research acumen with a proven record of publications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
