We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Resident in Radiology to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services, participating in academic activities, and mentoring junior residents and medical students. This role is integral to maintaining high standards in diagnostic and interventional radiology while fostering a learning environment in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and interventional radiology procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of imaging studies.
Participate in patient care by providing diagnostic insights and guidance for clinical management.
Supervise and assist with image-guided procedures performed by junior residents.
Academic Activities:
Conduct and participate in departmental teaching sessions, case discussions, and academic presentations.
Guide junior residents and interns in clinical and academic activities.
Contribute to research projects and publications within the department.
Actively participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs and conferences.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient cases and departmental records.
Assist in organizing academic and clinical audits within the department.
Ensure adherence to institutional protocols and guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: MD/DNB in Radiology from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 0 to 1 years of experience (if applicable; fresh graduates may be considered depending on college policy).
Registration: Must hold a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
