Job Summary:

Wanted Pharmacology Assistant Professor doctor to a medical college in Belgaum Karnataka. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Pharmacology to join our esteemed medical college. The ideal candidate will contribute to academic excellence through teaching, research, and participation in the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students. Develop and update pharmacology course curricula to align with medical education standards set by the National Medical Commission (NMC).



Research:
Engage in individual and collaborative research projects in pharmacology. Publish research findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Guide students in research projects and dissertations.

Academic Administration:
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and academic assessments. Supervise laboratory work and ensure the proper functioning of pharmacology labs.

Clinical Support (if applicable):
Provide pharmacological expertise for clinical departments in prescribing practices and drug-related research. Continuing Medical Education (CME): Organize and attend seminars, workshops, and CMEs to stay updated on advancements in pharmacology.

Other Duties:
Mentor students and support their academic and career development. Participate in college committees and activities as required.

Qualifications
MBBS with MD in Pharmacology from a recognized institution. Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council is mandatory. Prior teaching or research experience (preferred but not mandatory for fresh MD graduates).

Skills and Competencies
In-depth knowledge of pharmacology and its application in medical education and practice. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in research methodology and statistical analysis. Ability to inspire and engage students in academic and research activities.
