Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, clinical teachings, and practical demonstrations to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Prepare and update course materials, curriculum, and teaching plans.
Mentor and guide students in academic projects, internships, and clinical postings.
Clinical Practice:
Oversee and manage patient care in the affiliated teaching hospital.
Supervise postgraduate students and interns during clinical rounds and ensure quality patient management.
Research:
Conduct and guide original research in the field of general medicine.
Publish research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary research projects.
Administrative:
Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives.
Assist in the planning and organization of conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Qualifications:
MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college.
Publications in indexed journals as per the requirements of the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in handling clinical cases and emergencies.
