Job Summary
A teaching hospital with a busy eye department in Firozabad requires a Senior Resident in Ophthalmology to assist in OPD, cataract surgeries, and student supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ophthalmology OPD consultations under senior supervision
- Assist in cataract surgeries (phacoemulsification and SICS) and other ophthalmic procedures
- Manage eye emergency cases including trauma and acute angle-closure glaucoma
- Teach ophthalmology to MBBS students in clinics and practical sessions
- Participate in outreach eye camps and vision screening programmes
Qualifications & Requirements
- MS / DNB in Ophthalmology
- 1-5 years post-qualification experience
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration
