Job Summary
A tertiary care hospital in Firozabad requires a qualified Intensivist to manage a modern ICU, providing evidence-based critical care for complex and critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanically ventilated patients and complex multi-organ dysfunction cases
- Lead ICU rounds and make independent critical care decisions
- Perform procedures: central venous access, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, CRRT
- Coordinate care with surgical, medical, and sub-specialty consultants
- Implement ICU bundles for VAP, CLABSI, and sepsis prevention
- Counsel families on prognosis and end-of-life decisions
- Supervise and train ICU nursing and paramedical staff
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD / DNB in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, or Anesthesia with fellowship in Critical Care
- Minimum 3 years experience in a high-volume ICU
- FCCS / IDCCM certification preferred
- Proficiency in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)
