Responsibilities:

Teaching and Education:
Develop and deliver lectures, presentations, and interactive sessions on gynecology topics for medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise and mentor students in clinical rotations, providing guidance and feedback.
Design and update curriculum, incorporating the latest advancements in gynecology.
Conduct examinations and assessments to evaluate students' knowledge and skills.

Research:
Conduct independent or collaborative research in gynecology, including clinical studies, observational research, or translational research.
Secure funding for research projects through grants or other funding sources.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences or seminars.
Stay updated with the latest research in the field and incorporate evidence-based practices into teaching and clinical work.
Clinical Care:
Provide gynecological care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Perform surgeries, such as hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other gynecological interventions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay informed about the latest clinical guidelines and advancements in gynecological care.

Administration and Service:
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic activities.
Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Minimum of 4-7 years of teaching experience in a medical college.
Strong research background with publications in reputable journals.
Proficiency in modern diagnostic and surgical techniques in gynecology.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
