We invite application for the post of Gynecologist Assistant Professor to a reputed medical college in Chennai Tamil Nadu.
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the field of gynecology.
Develop and update the curriculum, course materials, and teaching methodologies to ensure students receive comprehensive education in gynecology.
Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic matters, career choices, and research opportunities.
Clinical Practice:
Provide clinical services to patients in the gynecology department, including outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgical interventions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and effective treatment plans.
Stay updated with advancements in gynecology research, treatment techniques, and evidence-based practices.
Research and Publications:
Engage in research activities related to gynecology, including clinical trials, observational studies, and data analysis.
Publish research findings in reputable medical journals and present at conferences to contribute to the field's knowledge and advancements.
Supervise and guide students in their research projects and assist them in publishing their work.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and administrative tasks as required by the institution.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in the evaluation and assessment of students' performance, including examinations and practical assessments.
Continuous Professional Development:
Pursue ongoing professional development through attending conferences, workshops, and relevant training programs.
Maintain professional certifications and licenses required to practice medicine and teach in an academic setting.
