Job Summary
A medical college hospital in Pondicherry seeks an Associate Professor in OBG to guide postgraduate students, perform complex gynaecological surgeries, and lead departmental academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage complex obstetric cases and high-risk pregnancies
- Supervise and evaluate MD/MS OBG postgraduate students
- Lead departmental teaching including lectures, clinics, and practical sessions
- Conduct and guide research in maternal and women's health
- Manage gynaecology OPD and specialised clinics
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD / MS / DNB in OBG
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience with teaching credentials
- Publications in indexed journals required
- Fulfils NMC eligibility norms for Associate Professor
