Job Summary
A well-established medical college in Karaikal invites a Professor in Paediatrics to lead the department, manage the PICU/NICU, and guide postgraduate education.
Key Responsibilities
- Head the Paediatrics department and manage PICU, NICU, and paediatric wards
- Provide expert care for complex and neonatal cases
- Lead and mentor postgraduate students in academic and clinical activities
- Publish research in child health and lead departmental grants
- Represent the department at NMC inspections and accreditation visits
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD / DNB in Paediatrics with distinguished academic record
- Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience including 3+ years as Associate Professor
- Significant research publications; HOD experience preferred
- Fulfils NMC norms for Professor
