Job Summary
A teaching hospital in Karaikal needs a Senior Resident in Anesthesia to assist faculty in clinical duties, teach junior students, and provide 24x7 anesthesia cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervised anesthesia services for routine and emergency procedures
- Assist in teaching and supervision of junior residents and interns
- Participate in morning academic sessions and case presentations
- Maintain anesthesia records and participate in morbidity/mortality reviews
- On-call duty covering nights and weekends as per roster
Qualifications & Requirements
- MD / DNB / DA in Anesthesiology
- 1-5 years post-qualification experience
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration
- Ability to work in a demanding academic hospital environment
