Wanted Forensic Medicine Assistant Professor doctor to a reputed medical college in Palakkad.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical demonstrations in Forensic Medicine to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD) students.
Develop course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and study guides.
Supervise and mentor students during research projects and case discussions.
Research and Development:
Conduct research in the field of forensic medicine and publish findings in reputable journals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for advanced research and innovation.
Guide students and junior faculty in research initiatives.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental and institutional meetings, curriculum planning, and academic committees.
Assist in the preparation of reports, departmental audits, and accreditation processes.
Clinical Duties:
Provide expert opinions in medico-legal cases in collaboration with law enforcement and judiciary.
Assist in conducting autopsies, analyzing forensic evidence, and preparing medico-legal documentation.
Continuous Professional Development:
Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated on advancements in forensic medicine.
Engage in ongoing learning to enhance teaching and research methodologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Qualification:
MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
MD in Forensic Medicine from an MCI/NMC-recognized institution.
Additional qualifications or certifications in forensic sciences will be an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 1 to 2 years teaching experience as a Senior Resident or equivalent.
Experience in handling medico-legal cases and conducting autopsies is preferred.
Skills:
