Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD, Community Medicine) students.
Supervise and guide students in projects, seminars, and research activities.
Research:
Engage in independent and collaborative research projects.
Publish high-quality research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Community Outreach:
Plan and participate in field visits, health camps, and public health initiatives.
Develop and implement community-based health programs in collaboration with stakeholders.
Administrative Duties:
Assist in departmental activities such as curriculum development and academic planning.
Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other institutional responsibilities.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with advancements in community medicine and public health practices.
Attend workshops, conferences, and professional development programs.
Qualifications:
Educational:
MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Community Medicine or Preventive and Social Medicine from a recognized institution.
MBBS from a recognized medical college.
Experience:
Prior teaching or clinical experience in community medicine is desirable (as per National Medical Commission guidelines).
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in the use of teaching tools and technology.
