Job opportunity for Radiology Senior resident doctor to a hospital in Alappuzha. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Resident Radiologist to join our prestigious hospital. As a Senior Resident Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic interpretations of various radiographic studies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and contribute to the education and training of junior residents and medical students.

Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret a wide range of radiographic procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies. Provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic reports based on the interpretation of radiological images. Consult and collaborate with referring physicians to discuss patient cases, recommend appropriate imaging techniques, and guide further diagnostic investigations. Ensure adherence to established protocols and guidelines for the safe and effective use of imaging equipment and contrast media. Monitor and evaluate the quality of radiographic studies to maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy. Supervise and teach junior residents and medical students during their rotations in radiology. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards to discuss complex cases and contribute to treatment planning. Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of radiology through continuous learning and professional development. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental meetings and committees. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety at all times.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Completion of a residency program in Radiology and board certification or eligibility. Subspecialty fellowship training in a specific area of radiology (e.g., neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, abdominal imaging) is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and reporting various radiographic studies. Strong knowledge of radiological anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Proficiency in using imaging software and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse healthcare team. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and handle a high volume of cases efficiently. Commitment to continuous learning and keeping abreast of advancements in radiology. Compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards governing the practice of radiology.
