Job opportunity for Radiology to a multispecialty hospital in Alappuzha Kerala.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our prestigious hospital and contribute to our commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Radiologist, you will play a critical role in the accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for our patients by interpreting and analyzing medical images using advanced imaging techniques and technologies. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality radiology services and contribute to the overall patient care experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI scans, mammograms, and other imaging modalities.
Evaluate and analyze medical images to diagnose diseases, injuries, or abnormalities accurately.
Provide expert recommendations for further diagnostic tests or procedures based on imaging findings.
Consult and collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results, treatment plans, and patient management.
Ensure the appropriate and safe use of radiation-emitting equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including imaging reports, medical histories, and other relevant information.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology techniques, equipment, and research through continuing education and professional development.
Participate in quality assurance programs and initiatives to ensure high standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing clear explanations of imaging procedures and results.
Supervise and guide radiology technologists and other staff members involved in imaging procedures.
Qualifications:
Medical degree Mbbs With (MD,DNB, DMRD) in Radiology from an accredited medical school.
Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
Completion of a residency program in Diagnostic Radiology.
Proficient in interpreting a wide range of medical imaging techniques, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
Strong knowledge of radiological anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
