Description:

We invite application for the post of Radiologist to a reputed hospital in Alappuzha. diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients through the use of various imaging techniques. Your expertise and keen eye for detail will contribute to the accurate interpretation of medical images, aiding in the overall healthcare delivery process. Responsibilities: Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures: Conduct a wide range of imaging tests, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, mammograms, and nuclear medicine scans. Interpret the results to provide accurate diagnoses and collaborate with other medical professionals. Provide expert analysis and diagnosis: Analyze medical images and provide accurate and comprehensive diagnostic reports, highlighting any abnormalities or conditions that require further attention. Consult with healthcare teams: Collaborate closely with referring physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases, provide expert opinions, and contribute to treatment plans. Stay up-to-date with advancements: Stay abreast of the latest developments in radiology techniques, technology, and research. Continuously expand your knowledge and skills to deliver the highest standard of care. Ensure patient safety and comfort: Maintain a safe environment during imaging procedures, following radiation safety protocols. Ensure patients are comfortable, well-informed, and receive appropriate care and support. Quality control and assurance: Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards. Review and monitor the quality of images and procedures to optimize patient care. Utilize imaging technology: Operate and maintain radiology equipment and software, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards. Stay updated on emerging imaging technologies and recommend equipment upgrades as necessary. Training and education: Mentor and provide guidance to radiology residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals. Contribute to the education and training programs within the department.

Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD, DNB, DMRD) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency program in Diagnostic Radiology. Valid medical license to practice in the desired jurisdiction. Proficiency in a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
