Looking for Radiology consultant doctor to a hospital in Alappuzha Kerala.
As a Consultant Radiologist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic imaging services to support patient care. You will be responsible for interpreting and reporting on a wide range of radiological examinations, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and technologies. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in clinical decision-making will be essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Perform and interpret diagnostic radiological procedures including X-rays, ultrasound.
Provide accurate and timely radiological reports, ensuring effective communication with referring physicians and healthcare professionals.
Utilize advanced imaging techniques and technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and provide specialized imaging services.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss and contribute to patient management plans, ensuring the provision of high-quality care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards of patient confidentiality.
Supervise and train junior radiology staff, providing guidance and support in the acquisition and interpretation of radiological images.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of radiology protocols and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for staff and patients.
Foster a culture of patient-centered care, ensuring empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
Qualifications:
MBBS degree from an accredited institution.
Post Graduation in MD, DNB, DMRD in Radiology.
Completion of specialized training in radiology and relevant fellowship programs.
Current valid medical license to practice as a Consultant Radiologist.
Proven experience as a Consultant Radiologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Expertise in interpreting and reporting on a wide range of radiological examinations.
Proficiency in utilizing advanced imaging techniques and technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with advances in the field of radiology.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle a high-volume workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
