We invite application for the post of Plastic Surgeon to a reputed hospitals in Panaji.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our reputed hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing reconstructive, cosmetic, and corrective surgical procedures to restore function and enhance patient appearance. The role demands exceptional surgical expertise, precision, critical decision-making abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries, including trauma reconstruction, burns management, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and aesthetic procedures.
- Evaluate patient medical history, assess surgical requirements, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative care ensuring optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams including anesthesiologists, dermatologists, orthopaedic surgeons, and ICU teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prepare detailed surgical reports, and manage follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, infection control procedures, and surgical quality standards.
- Participate in clinical research, case reviews, and ongoing departmental training programs.
Requirements
- MBBS with MS / MCh / DNB in Plastic Surgery from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid medical license and registration to practice.
- Proven experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
- Excellent surgical precision, communication skills, and patient management abilities.
- Ability to handle trauma and emergency cases effectively.
