The Medical College Name is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and research activities in the field of General Surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and seminars for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
Develop and update curriculum and teaching materials to ensure the highest quality education.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and research projects.
Clinical Duties:
Provide surgical care and treatment to patients in the affiliated hospital.
Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and surgical procedures.
Supervise and train residents and interns in the department.
Research:
Engage in clinical research and contribute to the department's research output.
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Present research at national and international conferences.
Administrative Duties:
Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
Contribute to the accreditation processes and quality improvement initiatives of the department and college.
Qualifications:
MBBS with MS in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 1-5 years of teaching experience in a medical college.
Proven track record in clinical practice and research.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to academic excellence and ethical standards.
