Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive care to patients in the General Medicine ward. Manage and treat patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct rounds with attending physicians, ensuring patient care plans are executed. Assist in emergency procedures and be available for emergency consultations.

Clinical Duties:
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results. Prescribe medication and treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with other medical professionals for patient care.

Teaching and Training:
Assist in the training and supervision of junior residents, interns, and medical students. Conduct clinical teaching sessions and bedside teaching rounds. Participate in academic activities, including journal clubs, case presentations, and seminars.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Assist in the coordination of departmental activities and schedules.

Research:
Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to the publication of research findings. Stay updated with the latest advancements in General Medicine through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:
Education: MBBS and MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in General Medicine, preferably with prior experience in a teaching hospital. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in India.

Skills:
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to patient care and teaching.

Work Environment:
Hours: Full-time, including rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Location: Hospital and outpatient settings within the medical college campus.
