Job Summary:
The Senior Resident in General Medicine will provide clinical care to patients, supervise junior residents and interns, participate in teaching activities, and engage in research within the department. The role requires a high level of clinical competence, dedication to patient care, and commitment to medical education.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
Conduct daily ward rounds and manage inpatient care. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Provide consultations for other departments as needed. Perform and assist in various medical procedures. Ensure timely documentation of patient records.

Teaching and Mentoring:
Supervise and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students. Conduct bedside teaching and clinical demonstrations. Participate in academic activities, including case discussions, seminars, and lectures.

Research:
Engage in clinical research and contribute to the academic output of the department. Assist in the preparation of research proposals, grant applications, and publications. Present research findings at conferences and seminars.

Administrative Duties:
Assist in the organization and management of departmental activities. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy and protocol development. Ensure compliance with medical college regulations and standards.

Professional Development:
Attend workshops, conferences, and continuing medical education (CME) programs. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of General Medicine.

Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD in General Medicine from a recognized institution. Experience: Minimum of 0-1 years of experience as a Junior Resident in General Medicine.

Skills:
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in medical procedures relevant to General Medicine.

Work Conditions:
Full-time position with rotational shifts. On-call duties as per the department's schedule. Participation in emergency services as required.
